Easy Flaky Pie Crust

Yields1 Serving
 2 ½ cups all purpose flourdivided into separates bowls 1 1/2 cup and 1 cup
 2 tbsp sugar
 1 pinch salt
 12 tbsp unsalted butter cold cut into small cubes
 ½ cup butter flavored shorteningcold and cut into small cubes
 ¼ cup vodkacold
 ¼ cup watercold

Add 1 ½ cups flour, sugar and salt into a food processor. Pulse a couple times, until everything is combined.

Scatter the cold butter and shortening into the food process. Pulse for 10-15 seconds, dough will resemble little cheese curds. Scrape the sides and add the remaining 1 cup of flour and pulse 5 times.

Combine the water and vodka. Slowly drizzle half into the food processor, pulse 2 times. Add the remaining water and pulse another two times.

Remove dough from food processor and place on a clean floured surface. Gently press the dough together just enough to form a ball. Slice the dough in half and form into discs. Wrap each one in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

-Refrigerate for up to 2 days.
-Freeze for up to 3 months .
