 7 cups turkey brothI use Better Than BouillonĀ® Turkey Base. Chicken broth can be substituted.
 ¼ cup finely diced carrot
 ¼ cup finely diced onion
 ½ tbsp poultry seasoning
 ½ tbsp brown sugar
 salt and pepper to taste
Dumpling
 2 cups flour
 ½ tsp baking powder
 2 tbsp cold butter or shortening
 1 cup milk
